Nadia Vegainz
Whats your yoga style? Since I am a so called “gym rat” I like it intense. I did a multi-style teaching training but I noticed very quickly that I am not a yin or gentle yoga teacher. I want my students to connect to their bodies so I would describe my teaching style as powerful, challenging and fun! I want my students to forget their worries, feel their body and enjoy the ride.
About me: I am a 30 year old mom who loves working out and eating vegan. I like food! I am born and raised in Luxembourg (yes a rare native woman lol) and work as a yoga teacher and personal trainer/coach for my company VEGAINZ. My first yoga class was in 2016 after a heartbreak – probably not the only one who got to yoga this way. I directly loved it. Did my teaching training 2019 and have been teaching since. I teach power yoga; hatha yoga and hot yoga. I am more the yang type of woman so these styles fit me the best – I love to make my students suffer (in a positive way!) and go to their limits. Leaving my class feelings physically tired but mentally good is my goal. I would (hope) describe myself as an active, fun and loyal person. I would never preach what I don’t practice.
Guilty Pleasure: Everything that’s made of chocolate. I love me some chocolate – vegan though.
Most memorable yoga experience: I would say the most memorable yoga experience was when a client of mine joined my yoga class. Her daughter passed away so there was sadness in her heart and of course in mine too. During the final savasana, I pressed her shoulders for relaxation, and she couldn’t hold her tears in. She started crying and I did too. I felt her pain and it was a very emotional moment for me until this day (much love to you if you read this). Teaching yoga is more than a “job.”
Favorite Yoga Pose: Headstand. I always loved inversions.
Favorite Movies: ‘The Color Purple’ and ‘The Green Mile’
