Whats your yoga style? I am trained in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow & Clinical Massage Therapy – meaning I’ll likely throw in a few elaborate anatomy words and there’s a good chance you’ll receive a Savasana massage. For me, being a yoga teacher and masseuse is so much more than manipulating the physical body. It’s about holding space for others to realize their own healing potential. YOU have the power, sometimes you just need the right environment and support to find it.
About me: I am Canadian and I love to laugh. I am an ever-absorbing spirituality sponge, intensely interested in studying Divine wisdom, including massage, meditation, yoga, pranayama, chakras, Ayurveda, symbolism, energy healing, the list goes on infinitely. I am inspired by ancient mystical philosophies that connect the body and the mind and I’ll find any excuse to talk to about it! - Hence my choice of career in yoga teaching and massage therapy (come visit me in the Sanctuary for a massage).
Favorite Food: Poutine! A classic Canadian dish – fries, cheese curds, gravy....mmmmm!
Most memorable yoga experience: The very first time I took a yoga class – I was having a dark day and heard yoga could help reduce stress & anxiety – I googled the closest studio to my home, without any research I walked in and thought “wow this room is hot” ...turns out it was a hot yoga studio. Surprised and unprepared, I gave it a try. The combination of heat and sweat, movement and breath, took me out of my monkey mind and into my body in the present moment.
