Whats your yoga style? Authentically me. My classes are not only the manifestation of my own creativity, what inspires me in the moment, the challenges we face individually & together and the emotions & seasons we experience through our lives, but also lighthearted and playful - we often take life too seriously anyway. My classes are often on the more ‘yang’ side of things as I am quite energetic & enthusiastic and really enjoy challenging my students (as well as myself). However, not to worry, I also intuitively know when the time is right to bring in the ‘yin’; to slow things down & surrender to the benefits of rest. My specialties are Bhakti Yoga and Prenatal Yoga, both of which help bring such beautiful love & awareness to our bodies & minds.
About me: I am lucky enough to call myself a global citizen as I was born in Luxembourg, raised in the United States, have lived in the Netherlands, South Africa, Turkey and Czechia and traveled to more countries than I can count. This is a big part of my identity as I absolutely love meeting, working with, and creating connections with people from all over the world & all walks of life. I absolutely love: the smell of pine trees, warm autumn colors, good food (both cooking & eating), hiking with my dog, sunshine & inspiring conversations with friends and family. I have been a yoga teacher since 2015, following a personal trauma in which yoga became one of the greatest sources of therapy. I am also a birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator and integrative health practitioner specializing in the female hormone system. I, therefore, feel deeply passionate about empowering women through their health journeys in every stage of life.
Guilty pleasure: American reality TV shows: The Bachelorette being among my favorites...and also chocolate...and wine...or chocolate & wine while watching the bachelorette.
Favorite destination: Positano, Italy. If there was a heaven on Earth, this would be mine. And also my kitchen. I love to cook so if I'm at home, you'll most likely find me there.
