My teaching style: I have been teaching yoga for nearly 25 years with the intention of guiding individuals back to a sense of peace and connection within their bodies and minds—something that is often lost in the busyness of daily life. My classes are welcoming to all body types, ages, and experience levels, and I am passionate about helping people feel empowered, supported, and comfortable in their own skin.
My approach to yoga blends physical movement with mindful awareness and yogis philosophy, emphasizing that the practice is as much about training the mind as it is about strengthening the body. I am a 500 E-RYT certified instructor and I am trained in various styles, including Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Yoga Nidra, Therapeutic Yoga, Prenatal, Senior Yoga, and Trauma-Informed Yoga.
In addition to my yoga certifications, I am a Mindfulness Coach specializing in stress and pain management. My foundational training is in therapeutic bodywork, and my deep appreciation for anatomy and physiology continues to inform and enrich my approach to yoga.
Alongside my work with adults, I also have the privilege of teaching Baby Yoga, drawing on my training in infant therapies and studies in developmental psychology. This foundation deepens my understanding of the mind-body connection across all stages of life.
Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or returning to deepen your practice, my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and inspired.
I’m inspired by: I have a beautiful sister who still lives in the States and she has been my inspiration since the day I was born. She is brave and creative and has taught me how to be myself with no apologies. She is a musician, an artist, and an all-around bad ass! When I turned 15 years old, she gave me my first John Lennon tape (because that’s how we listened to music back then!) and it changed my life! I feel like she raised me, along with John, and I could not have had better parents!
Soundtrack of your life: The soundtrack to “The Sound of Music” would be the soundtrack for my life. I feel like Maria when they describe her in the song “Maria!” These are the songs I used to sing to my kids before bedtime and I can never tire of them.
